Fun Photo Job

Yesterday I had the awesome opertunity to take photos of a friend of mine and actress in the new movie Courageous, coming out this fall. It was a fun photo session. We braved the crazy 94 degree weather and lucky for us the smoke that has been lingering over our area the past week due to wild fires took a much needed bake. So happy for Angie's sucess and I cant wait to see her on the big screen. Here are a few shots from our session.

Week One...

My challenge is still going well. I did only do a snap shot last night to make sure I posted something but I have learned things about my camera and about photography one week one. This week I was going to take photos of my youngest but I am not sure if that will happen. I am going in today for a root canal and I don't know if i will but up to creative photography today when I get back. We will see what i come up with.

The 365 Challenge!!

I am going to be challenging myself to take one photo everyday for a year and post it. I am going to pick a theme every week and have fun with it. Some weeks will be more creative then others but I will do my best to post one photo every day. This should be fun!

Week #1 I am photographing my oldest daughter. She has had the camera pointing at her since she was born so she is loving it.

Week #1 Reagan my little doll is my theme!! Love that girl more then words could express.

Day #1..looking for fish

Day #2 Playing in the leaves

Day #3 Showing off her wild hair!

Its been a long time...

I have neglected my duties when it comes to keeping up with my blogging. I will blame it on the holiday, family in town or too much tasty food...well maybe not the last one. Any how I am back to my blogging duties.
I had a wonderful holiday with the family. It was Rylee's first Christmas and she really could have cared less since she wasunder 3 months. Now it was a different story for my oldest Reagan. She is 2 1/2 and every little decoration, ordainments on the tree, and light outside took her breath away. It was awesome to watch her enjoy Christmas. My parents were in town for a few weeks and I took full advantage of the extra hands as I have two little girls. Now that they are gone it has been an adjustment trying to get back into the routine of things.
Looking to the future. I am excited about the new year. I have ordered new backdrops and have some fun new props and I am planning to do a fewmini shoots this year...most likely one for every season. This spring I will be doing 30 min sessions at one of the parks in the Mandarin area. When I have all the detail I will let you know. I am excited for a wonderful 2011.
My daughter looking at the lights on our house...priceless!!

Perry Family Photos

Nothing like a beautiful Saturday morning at Spring Park photographing the Perry Family to start off a busy weekend. I had a blast from start to finish. I had a blast talking to them as they are both from the west coast and had lived in my home town...small world! What an awesome family. I hope to work with them in the future.
